Dan Holden

Veterinary surgeon

A fascination with all creatures great & small (and how they work) from an early age led Dan to the Royal Veterinary College in London, where he qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1991. After some time in traditional mixed practice in Ilminster, Dan returned to London and then to Langford, Bristol, to undertake postgraduate training in anaesthesia and critical care medicine. Rachel Haslett

Veterinary surgeon

Rachel was born and brought up in London in an animal-loving family with lots of pets, and can’t remember wanting to be anything other than a vet. She gained an honours degree in applied biology in 1992, particularly enjoying the biochemistry and medical microbiology aspects, and then studied at the Royal Veterinary College, qualifying as a veterinary surgeon in 1997. Sarah Cole

Senior veterinary nurse

Sarah is a Devon farmer’s daughter. She first came to us on a six-week placement from her nursing degree at the School of Veterinary Science, Langford, University of Bristol and wonderfully for us, never left.
That was back in January 2007. Sarah transferred onto the in-practice nurse training route, sailed through the nursing course and qualified as an RVN. Read more ...

Sam Read

Practice manager

Sam has been working in veterinary practice since 2003, firstly as a Veterinary Nurse (qualifying in 2006) then moving onto practice administration and eventually Practice Management work. She enjoys walking and going to agility with her two dogs Poppy and Hugo. She also has two cats and a rabbit to complete the furry family!
