Emergencies

Should you require EMERGENCY assistance for your pet outside of normal opening hours please contact the normal surgery number. You will be directed to our out of hours call service who will take your details and contact the duty vet as follows.

Between the hours of 8am and 7pm, when outside our normal opening hours emergency services will be provided on a rota basis by either:

County Vet Clinic, 137 Kingston Road, TA2 7SR 

or 

Animedics , Creech Castle, Taunton TA1 2DX

Please call 01209 823276 to speak to the call centre who will contact the duty vet.

Between 7pm and 8am 7 days a week our emergency service will be provided by:

Somerset Veterinary Emergency Clinic, based at Quantock Vet Hospital, The Drove, Bridgwater TAG 4BA (01278 433585). 

SVEC area dedicated emergency team with an experienced vet and vet nurse on
site all night.

Please be assured that any inpatients will continue to be hospitalised at our Kingston Road surgery. If you have any queries regarding this change, please contact the surgery during our normal opening hours.
