WE ARE STILL HERE FOR YOUR PETS!

In order to protect our clients & staff and to allow us to be able to provide a resilient service throughout this pandemic, like many organisations we are making changes to the way we have to work. These changes follow the advice of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons & British Veterinary Association to all veterinary surgeons in the UK, and allow us to reduce our use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at this critical time for the national supply. We are doing this in order to try to limit the spread of this disease and allow us to return to normal service as quickly as possible.

In line with the national focus on self-isolation and social distancing, from the 25th March County Veterinary Clinic will offer urgent and emergency appointments only. We will still be offering routine work if there is an ethical reason (e.g. castrating male rabbits if mixed sex rabbits are being kept together, or new puppy and kitten vaccines to prevent disease outbreaks). Emergency/urgent appointments are available, and sick animals will still be treated. We continue to offer a 24-hour emergency service run jointly with our colleagues at Animedics as usual. We are also offering pre-booked telephone appointments with our vets for less urgent cases. Phone lines will remain open during normal hours and appointments for animals that are unwell or may be in pain can still be made, but please telephone first and be aware we have strict distancing procedures in place. Out of normal working hours please call the main practice number on 01823 326222 or if that is busy, call our answering service on 01209 823276.

WE ARE STILL THERE FOR YOUR PETS – BUT WE HAVE TO LIMIT OUR SERVICES TO TRY AND SLOW THE SPREAD. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL US.
